Donor Benefits
Confidence
With all of the needs in the world, an important factor in making a charitable gift is knowing the recipient. Hospice at Home has served over 5,000 families in South West Michigan since its inception in 1982. Serving continuously as a non-profit 501(c)3 charity with volunteer Boards of Directors and hundreds of your neighbors who otherwise volunteer their time to service, Hospice at Home, and South Haven Area Hospice Foundation are good stewards of your gifts. Audited annually by the independent accounting firm of McMurray Marks and Edmunds of St. Joseph Michigan our financial statements are on file with the Internal Revenue Service and available in our offices for your inspection.
Satisfaction
We know that most people empathize with the challenges that face families caring for a loved one who is dying. We often wish there was some way that we could help. A gift to Hospice ensures that everyone who needs our Special Kind of Care is helped. Donors to Hospice should feel tremendous satisfaction that their gifts in an appreciable way, contributed to the care and support that hundreds of our neighbors receive each and every day from Hospice volunteers or professionals.
Appreciation
Hospice at Home is a team culture. Aside from the thanks of a Hospice professional, all donors are acknowledged in our newsletter and to our staff, volunteers and board. Gifts of money time and talents to Hospice are very much needed, appreciated and maximized for the greatest benefit to the people we serve. There is no finer gift that we can share than to tell you that your contribution made a difference in the lives of the people we serve. You owe it to yourself to feel appreciated.
