Throughout the year we offer special events that bring the community together. These are times to not only support the work of Hospice at Home and Lory's Place, but also to support each other and share stories about the people who matter most to us. Please join us:
Celebrations of Life Services are held in the spring and fall to remember in a special way the lives of people from our communities who have died in the last six months. Open to the public, these non-denominational celebrations include fellowship time and a reception.

Come and race beside sailboats in the marina, along the river, past Lake Michigan and its sandy beaches, down the historical brick streets of Ridgeway, and into parts of St. Joseph’s newest developments in a community fundraising event. All race events will begin and end at Lory’s Place in St. Joseph.
Hospice at Home Open House
Friday, September 7, 2012 from 4:00-7:00 p.m. Please join Lakeland HealthCare and Hospice at Home for an open house in celebration of life and to learn more about the planned Merlin and Carolyn Hanson Hospice Center! There will be Refreshments, activities, and renderings of the proposed building.

International Survivors of Suicide Day
Saturday, November 17, 2012 - Join other survivors of suicide worldwide on International Survivors of Suicide Day. Lory’s Place will host a special video conference free and open to the public.
