Current Volunteer Opportunities 

As of October 2011, Hospice at Home and Lory's Place could use your help filling the following volunteer positions:

  • Respite volunteers to provide relief for caregivers
  • Bedside singers perform an array of songs to help ease a patient's pain and suffering
  • Facilitator at Lory's Place to assist with peer-to-peer support sessions for children, teens and the adults in their lives
  • Beauticians and barbers willing to provide in-home services for patients
  • Visitors to listen to patients and caregivers
  • Music therapists to provide live and recorded music to enhance the quality of life for patients in palliative and hospice care
